    Marjanne.jpgJust returned from another fabulous Lunch & Learn!  The event started with Marjanne Priest, Co-Founder of The Betty Ferguson Foundation, telling all about how we can get involved with helping others. 

    Adopt a Family for the HOLIDAYS referred by the Single Mothers Outreach of Santa Clarita - donated items needed:

    • Mom - Gas Cards
    • 6 year old girl - size 6X (clothes) size 12 (shoes)
    • 8 year old boy - size 10/m (clothes) size 3 (shoes)

    If you are interested in helping, please drop off items at BFF by December 16th...remember they moved to 25510 West Avenue Stanford, Suite 104.

    Sue told us her inspiring story that started with her growing up in a small town of 800 people in Illinois.  She actually grew up on a farm!  She shared how she had a bunch of career "accidents" that led her to great opportunities.  These opportunities have given her the education & experience to start NewMarket Careers!

    One of the take-aways that I enjoyed from Sue's talk was what she had to say about networking and being "everywhere".  She also shared a quote from our incoming SCV Chamber Chairman of the Board...
