download-1.jpgThank you to Jorge Lopez of J & M Entertainment
for a wonderful presentation about the different
generations & how WE can relate better to them
with our marketing materials, sales language &
    our other communications.

The best thing I felt I took away from Jorge's talk
was the 3 S's Exercise!  This can be done anytime
you'd like to improve things in your business or
really, you could use this for improving any area
    of your life!

    Ask yourself...

    1) STAY - What are the 3 things I am doing that I need to continue to do?

    2) STOP - What are the 3 things I am doing that I need to stop doing?

    3) START - What are the 3 things I need to start doing?

Members - WE apologize, however, WE were unable to record this event!
However, the power point presentation is available in our: Audio Center

Kimberly Barclay.pngThe only thing constant is change.

How that works for some people is so very interesting.  Instead of looking at life as an amazing adventure, full of twists and turns and excitement and thrills – like a movie where there is no idea what is about to happen, keeping  the viewer on the edge of their seat and totally captivated – they resist change and feel out of control.

Those exciting movies are the best types of movies for so many people.  Yet when it comes to our own lives, we like to know what it going to happen.  We feel a “need” to know at times.  I’ve seen people force themselves to know and make a premature decision to just not deal with the not knowing, or to cross one more thing off their to-do list.

When I was writing one day I received an amazing quote -  “Only when we surrender to the unknown, will the known become possible”.  That quote has so much depth and has so much information in it.  It can be applied to anything in life.  Yet the knowing is important – but the truth of the matter is that the knowing truly comes from the energy of surrender and trust.

We can convince ourselves that we know what to do or know what step to take but when you can truly listen to your heart and soul, you will know if there is any uncertainty in the decision.  If you can surrender and trust and be in the moment, with the INTENTION to know, you will get the answer so clearly that you will laugh at the ease and grace and the way in which it can come to you.

There is nothing better than true knowing – but it is in the space and surrender that you will know completely.  We need space and time in our lives to surrender and allow the Universe and our true Authentic Self to reveal the truth in our hearts and our souls.  When you let life unfold in this way, you are in the flow of your life.  You are taken to circumstances and events that you may otherwise miss and doors will begin to open up for you that are amazing and truly effortless.

What we don’t resist cannot persist.  If we can learn to love uncertainty and not knowing we can live in the moment.  It is a beautiful thing.

To understand more about living in this amazing energy of the Authentic Self, join us for the next Empowerment Boot Camp “Oh C’mon Get Real”, beginning on August 4th or 11th (depending on attendees), Tuesdays for 4 weeks from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. Only $60 for the entire series.

We would love to have you join us!!

Tera John (2).jpgAt our June Business Success Seminar Event
our Featured Speaker, John Klymshyn shared
with us his list of 10 Daily Intentions.

Now, I do think John's list is fabulous and if you missed the event I did posted his list for you in the previous blog post.  If you were at the event, take a minute to watch John's VIDEO REVIEW from the June Business Success Seminar Event.

So, while I enjoyed his list, I felt that I needed to take the time to create my own personal "Daily Intention" list!  Here it is...

    Tera's 10 Daily Intentions

    1. Thank Someone
    2. Read 1 Hour - 1/2 hour of Business / Personal Development & 1/2 hour of Fiction

    4. Workout - be active in some way...EVERYDAY!
    5. Quiet Time - start each day w/my journal & a cup of coffee (my reward for working out!)
    6. Look My Best - some days are better than others ; )
    7. Step Out of My Comfort Zone! - challenge myself in someway!
    8. Be Present - live in the moment - this is usually how I step out of my comfort zone!
    9. Find Something to Smile &/or Laugh About!
    10. BREATHE - when I stop doing this one, I done!

    Post your list below...

Wealth Secret: Don't Let a Good Crisis Go to Waste
    Article by Alexis Martin Neely
Featured Expert Speaker at the April Business Success Seminar

Each week for the past month, I've been sitting in church and
listening to Reverend Michael Beckwith help us understand the
meaning behind the crises that so many of us find ourselves in
and it's been absolutely powerful and transformational.

How can a crisis create more wealth in your life?

It does so as long as you don't let the crisis go to waste, as
    most people do.

Most people let a good crisis go to waste by resisting against
it, by blaming themselves, burying their heads in the sand, and getting stuck in the why oh why.

It's time to move beyond all that and recognize that the crisis
is full of opportunity and promise, but you have to wake up
and see it for what it is.

As Reverend Michael says, a crisis is merely evidence that the old way wasn't working. There's a falling apart happening and that falling apart must happen for something new to emerge.

So next time you are in the middle of a crisis, don't look around
for someone to blame. Stop asking why oh why. Start asking what.

    What is here for me?

What is trying to emerge from this situation?

What new opportunity is on the other side of this crisis?

What is my next right action? Show me the way.

When you shift your energy in this way, a world of opportunity
    will open up for you.

Jobs will be found, money will flow in, houses will be saved.

Your life will be changed. Don't let a good crisis go to waste.
Recognize the good in it. Find what is seeking to emerge and let it come through.

Your wealth will be multiplied by the hundreds and thousands.

Tera Laurie Elaine.jpgOn Thursday, March 19, 2009 WE held our March Business Success Seminar Event at the TPC in Valencia!

What an incredible energy WE created in the room that day, it was amazing!!

Our Featured Speaker, Laurie Hacking, CPCC (pictured here in between Me & Elaine Giftos Wright, our Speaker Coordinator)!  Laurie spoke on "Stop Playing Small & Step Into More!"

Laurie shared 5 important steps to getting into flow and start creating more...

    1.  Clarity - ask yourself...what is your big goal...then dream bigger!
    2.  Curiosity - this is where you will have breakthrough thinking!
    3.  CLOG - it isn't about hitting blocks, it's about what you do with them!
    4.  Choice - this is the "doing" place
    5.  Celebration - this is being in gratitude!

Some other "golden nuggets" I took away from her talk were:

    • constantly be asking - what is the extra value I give my clients
    • people aren't paying for information, they pay for an experience
    • what experience expresses your brilliance to your clients

Michael Price Tera.jpgThank you to those of you that attended our February
Business Success Seminar Event and made it a huge
    success!

This event was great, as usual, the energy in the room was
    fabulous!

    Our
Featured Speaker, Michael Price of Fearless Thinking
discussed “Breaking the Poor Economy Mindset”.  Here
are a few of the "golden nuggets" that I received from his
    talk:

    • With all the negativity of the media it can be difficult to stay positive.  Fear has set into the minds of most people.  It can be very easy to get sucked in and let it negatively affect you, which will effect the actions you take to grow your business.  It all starts with COURAGE, having the courage to take a look at what might not be working in your life/business & begin to change it!

    • You need to have AWARENESS...for example before listening to a seminar define your purpose for listening, then when something relevant to your purpose is said during the seminar your subconscious will pick up on it!

    • Define what you want to achieve and take a look at what is holding you back.  Fear is the number one reason, fear of failure, fear of success, fear of rejection or fear of embarrassment.

    • Your brain is capable of anything, give it direction and get out of the way!

    • What goes on in your mind shows up in your life, ALWAYS!

    • Take control of your thought process, then begin to action in the right direction!!

    • You may not have a direct control over the economy, however, you have influence!  It is the Ripple Effect…Each of us has value, passion, potential, talents and gifts that we need to share, take control of your thought process and share your gifts to positively effect your family, then your small group communities, next your larger community and then our global community!

    • It is only a mindset…don’t let things of the past effect you today!

    • Fears…”I am afraid of what I think you think of me…I am not afraid of what you think of me, I am afraid of what I think you think of me”, WOW…this effects the way you behave…what others think of you is really none of your business ; )

    • Group Think…by taking control of your thought process you can positively effect the mindset of others around you!

For those of you that were unable to attend, please visit our Member's Only
Resource Area to listen to the audio from this event:  Audio Center
